National Alumnae Website Award for 2003-2006

Welcome members, friends and visitors!

Sigma Alpha Iota is an International Music Fraternity for Women, founded in 1903 at the University School of Music in Ann Arbor, MI. Formed to "uphold the highest ideals of a music education" and "to further the development of music in America", it continues to provide musical and educational resources to its members and the general public through its 212 college chapters, 121 alumnae chapters, and 105,376 total initiated members.

The Omaha Alumnae Chapter was originally chartered on February 1st, 2002. At the present time, the chapter is currently placed on inactive status, effective February 4, 2008.

On July 30, 2006 at 44th National Convention, the Omaha Alumnae Chapter was selected as the winner of the National Alumnae Website Award for a fourth consecutive year!
